Survivor Series was a night when NXT proved all the doubters wrong. Many thought the Black & Gold brand may come out short at the end of the night in their war against both RAW and SmackDown. But at least for now, NXT has proved that they are indeed the brand to watch out for as they swept Survivor Series with four points compared to SmackDown's two and RAW's one point.
After a chaotic weekend where we also had NXT TakeOver: WarGames as well, the focus for the Black & Gold brand will now shift towards some existing and new rivalries. This week will start with the Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish putting their NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against the unlikely duo of Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic.
There is a reason why I call them unlikely as a few weeks ago both these two heavyweights were tearing into each other in one of NXT's most memorable feuds. They did show chemistry during their WarGames match against the Undisputed Era, but coexisting in the ring with the three-time NXT Tag Team Champs is an entirely different ball game.
Can Lee & Dijakovic win the NXT Tag Team Championships tonight?
Lio Rush retained his NXT Cruiserweight Championship on Sunday night to kickstart NXT's onslaught on the Survivor Series point tally and tonight he will square off against Akira Tozawa with the title on the line once again.
The Japanese Superstar has been on an impressive run and he will look to capture gold tonight. Will The Man Of The Hour retain his championship and will Angel Garza have a say in things as well?
Dakota Kai has a lot of similarities with the current SmackDown Women's Champion, Bayley. Both were at a time, the most loved characters in WWE. But just like Bayley, the Captain Of Team Kick turned heel and destroyed her tag team partner and best friend, Tegan Nox, in brutal fashion.
Kai left Nox battered and even inflicted some damage on her knee and the NXT Universe will be looking to get some answers from her.
What will Kai have to say about her actions at NXT TakeOver: WarGames?
Guess you will have to tune-in to find out!
