#4 To keep the suspense going
Suspense is best kept when you let people speculate without giving anything out, and Charlotte has been exceptional at doing it. The former RAW Women's Champion has left the WWE Universe guessing on who she'll be challenging at WrestleMania, and this attack was to keep building on that.
If Charlotte would have had a one-on-one interaction with the champion, then she would have revealed her choice, but the attack kept us waiting and guessing on what the next move by the 10-time women's champion would be in the coming weeks. Ronda Rousey stated on 'After The Bell' podcast with Corey Graves, that she would like to face Rhea Ripley, and suggested Charlotte do the same. With the attack in place, one cannot affirm who the Women's Royal Rumble Match winner would face at The Grandest Stage of them All.
This could also be a great way to give space to some storylines and keep the fans confused about who she would face at WrestleMania.
