Johnny Gargano bid a tearful goodbye to NXT 2.0 in the final segment of the show, cutting an emotional promo about his time on the brand. It was heartfelt and raw, with the fans cheering on his every word. So, of course, somebody had to step in, attack him, and send him packing. That was Grayson Waller.

The Australian Superstar has instantly become the most hated man in NXT 2.0, as he wrote Gargano off with a brutal assault. Waller hit him with a chair, before wrapping his head around it and sending him into the steel steps. He finished Johnny Wrestling off with a powerbomb through the announcer's table.

This is how to make a heel. Grayson Waller, through his performance at NXT WarGames and his attack on Gargano, has become a prominent figure on the show. Meanwhile, the outgoing star is yet to decide on his future, be it WWE or elsewhere. But this surely was the end of Johnny Wrestling in NXT.

#1 Worst: What is the point of the NXT Cruiserweight Championship?

Fresh off retaining the Cruiserweight Championship against Joe Gacy at NXT WarGames, Roderick Strong is once again punching above his weight. He is set to face Bron Breakker next week, following a promo between the second-generation star and Malcolm Bivens.

The mouthpiece of Diamond Mine said the title's weight limit for Strong but that shouldn't be the case. What is the point of the Cruiserweight Championship then? There isn't much of a division now, anyway, and it seems like a matter of time before the belt gets scrapped.
