Well-known wrestling group The Bullet Club, which has appeared across various wrestling franchises, could be rechristened with a new name by WWE, after two of its former members in the form of Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson – who both plied their trade for New Japan Pro Wrestling – could possibly sign deals with the company.
WWE’s new name for The Bullet Club, which may be Bulletproof, was revealed on social networking site Twitter by reigning NXT Champion Finn Balor aka Prince Devitt – who also happens to be a former New Japan Pro Wrestling alum.
WWE, on its part, did little to play down the speculation and even retweeted Balor’s tweet announcing the group’s supposed new name.
The Bullet Club and it’s various members have appeared across various franchises, with each wrestling bringing some form of silverware to the group in the form of two IWGP World Heavyweight Championships, which were won by NXT star AJ Styles; four IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, which were won by The Young Bucks, along with loads of other trophies.
Whether the group, under their new name, manage to replicate their success on WWE remains to be seen.
