#3. Who is Adam Cole's next challenger?
While current NXT Champion (of the dudes) Adam Cole had an incredible 2019, the Panama City Playboy's current year has kind of had an auspicious start. Or, more specifically, for his faction mates in the Undisputed ERA.
Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, the current NXT Tag Team champions, were knocked out of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in the semi-finals by the Grizzled Young Veterans on the January 22nd episode of NXT on USA. On that very same episode, NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong lost his title to Keith Lee.
Finally, during NXT TakeOver: Worlds Collide, the entire team lost in an eight-man tag team battle against Imperium - with the NXT UK faction down a man due to Alexander Wolfe's injury early in the match.
Cole, meanwhile, hasn't had a major title defense since last year, retaining the belt against Finn Balor. So, tonight, William Regal will be announcing who gets the next shot at him.
Keith Lee is going to be busy defending his newly won North American title (probably in a rematch against Strong), while Johnny Gargano and Balor have a score to settle with each other. My guess is that this pretty much leaves Tomasso Ciampa - unless there's somebody I'm forgetting.
Speaking of Keith Lee...
