#5 Pete Dunne (c) vs Adam Cole WWE United Kingdom Championship Match
The WWE United Kingdom Championship seems to be defended on NXT a lot, but who's complaining? The matches are always incredible and this one was no different.
Pete Dunne and Adam Cole started the match with a lock-up before Dunne backed Cole into the corner, but Cole broke free.
Dunne went after Kyle O'Reilly on the floor but Bobby Fish warned the Bruiserweight off. Noticing the numbers game was against him, Dunne returned to the ring to be greeted with a kick from Cole.
Cole locked in a front face lock but Dunne got to the ropes. The WWE United Kingdom Champion hit back with a forearm and invited the NXT Tag Team Champions into the ring, before hitting Cole with a kick to the head and working on the fingers in typical Dunne fashion. Dunne then stomped and kicked Cole's elbow as it was on the mat.
Both men went to the apron, Dunne managed a waist lock but Cole retaliated with a back elbow. Dunne finally got to the top and came down with a boot to the injured arm.
The Bruiserweight threw Cole onto the apron before returning to the ring, but the Tag Team Champions made their way onto the apron. Dunne is dropped to the floor as we go to commercial. After the break, Dunne scored an X Plex on Cole before the pair exchanged forearms. Cole whipped Dunne into the corner, but the champion flipped Cole over and hit an impressive enzuigiri.
Dunne continued to work on the injured body part of Adam Cole with a boot to the elbow from the turnbuckle, then scored a sit-down powerbomb for a near fall. Pete Dunne kicked Cole in the head and set him up for the Bitter End, but Cole escaped and hit a lungblower wiping both Dunne and himself out.
Cole went for a suplex but Dunne countered it into a guillotine and a double wrist lock with a body scissors. Cole managed to escape and hit a bicycle kick and an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. Cole then taunted Pete Dunne.
Adam Cole hit Pete Dunne with a forearm but Dunne delivered one of his own to send Cole into the corner. The Tag Team Champions checked on Adam Cole, then Cole hit back with a superkick, but Dunne blocked only to be caught by an enzuigiri.
We then saw Dunne hit an enzuigiri himself before coming off the turnbuckle with a moonsault, but Cole caught the champion with a kick to the head and scored a near fall.
We then saw a very impressive end to this match as Cole missed a Shining Wizard for Dunne to catch him with a German suplex, then go for the Bitter End - only for Fish and O'Reilly to get on the apron and distract the Bruiserweight. Dunne, however, took care of both, only for Cole to hit a superkick and Last Shot...but Dunne kicked out at two.
Dunne tried again for the Bitter End but Kyle O'Reilly hit Pete Dunne from behind and the referee called for the bell.
Winner: Pete Dunne (Adam Cole is disqualified due to interference)
After the match, Kyle and Bobby attacked Pete Dunne and Adam Cole hit the retaining champion with a superkick. Roderick Strong came out to make the save, but the numbers were too much for the 205 Live man. Dunne managed to recover, though, and both men cleaned house. All was not well, though, as Dunne refused a handshake from Strong.
