It's clear that Sabbatelli & Moss are beginning to gel up more as a team. Tino still looks like he can be a breakout star. Dawkins and Montez Ford began with the offence, getting the momentum. It didn't take long for things to turn as Moss took control of Ford.

Sabbatelli hit a flurry of offence and then began o take things slow. Ford got Dawkins in for the hot tag and he did that "stirring it up" thing but failed to get Sabbatelli.
However, Sabbatelli was on the receiving end of an elbow as he turned around. Ford held Moss outside the ring, ensuring that Dawkins got the pin.

Lars Sullivan vs Raul Mendoza
If you guys didn't know this, Lars Sullivan is actually Braun Strowman's former tag-team partner in developmental.
Mendoza used his agility to try to escape Sullivan. He was at full speed until he was met by a vicious headbutt from Lars. The powerhouse then hit two crushing splashes to Raul in the corner. He landed a big powerslam before hitting heavy blows to the side of Mendoza's head. He hit the "Freak Accident" for an easy win.

After the match, Sullivan wasn't done. He picked Mendoza by his head and was about to attack him further but his Takeover opponent Kassius Ohno came for the save and was ready for a fight. Sullivan looked at him, laughed menacingly and exited the ring.
Backstage, Johny Gargano was talking to William Regal. The NXT GM said that he knew that Gargano had been in a slump recently but will make a comeback. He told him that United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne issued an open challenge and said that he would like Gargano to take it. Johnny Wrestling happily accepted and left the office.

Ember Moon vs Mercedes Martinez
Mercedes Martinez took a shot at Ember Moon a few weeks back, saying that she wasn't capable of winning "the big one" after failing to become champion twice against Asuka.
Martinez started off with a headlock. Martinez even got Moon down with a shoulder tackle and faked her and kicked her head. The veteran Martinez was backing her trash talk at that point.
Moon managed to make the comeback with a dropkick. She shot Martinez into the turnbuckles and hit a splash on her. Martinez landed an elbow and even got a spine buster onto Moon.
Martinez was in some control for some time with the three amigos suplex. That wasn't enough to put away the contender, however.

She followed this up with a suicide dive through the middle rope, being met with huge "NXT" chants. She was getting ready for the eclipse but was met with a big boot and a running Tower of London.
Moon almost got a small-package on Mercedes. Martinez got caught in the middle ropes and ate a kick to the back and then mid-section. Ember went up to the top turnbuckles and landed the eclipse successfully. Ember overcame quite the challenge ahead of her big match on Sunday.

After the match, Nikki Cross interrupted her celebration, coming from the back. Peyton Royce came out as Nikki was ringside. The 4th member, Kairi Sane stood at the entrance ramp as Ember looked at her competitors for WarGames. Who is going to become the new NXT Women's Champion? This is beyond exciting!
Drew McIntyre and Andrade "Cien" Almas go face-to-face
Drew McIntyre congratulated Almas(and Vega) for getting the opportunity. He said it's a whole different thing when the opportunity kicks in and the pressure sets. He addressed Zelina for talking about all the success, but she'll find out that McIntyre himself is the mountain. He called Andrade out and told him to do it for himself and not Zelina. He took a shot at Andrade being on Zelina's leash.
His music came out and it was Zelina who came out. Andrade came out in a suit and there was no talk. They went straight into a brawl. McIntyre overpowered Almas but Zelina Vega tried jumping on him. He caught Zelina and put her down gently, only for Almas to get him from under his legs. He got him in a hammerlock DDT and stood tall as Zelina held the NXT championship.
