Anyone who calls themselves a fan of NXT will know what Pete Dunne can do in the ring having seen some of the matches he's been capable of. Hopefully now, following this great match, more people will be familiar with Zack Gibson and just how good he is too!

This match was every bit as brutal and technical as you'd expect from two of UK wrestling's finest brawlers and submission specialists. Dunne got most of his classic repertoire in, snapping Gibson's fingers and Gibson showed just how great a heel he is with moments like this.
The match had some other great spots like a double drop-kick leaving both men down in the ring and Pete Dunne having to use his mouth on the ropes to break up Gibson's Shankly Gates submission move. The finish came when Gibson grabbed Dunne's mouth guard and attempted to throw it into the crowd, a distraction that allowed Dunne to hit the Bitter End for the win.
Result: Pete Dunne Def. Zack Gibson to retain the NXT UK Title
