On NXT last week, LA Knight dropped Ted Dibiase with a big right hand. The new Million Dollar Champion called Cameron Grimes an idiot for caring about "the old man" more than the title and money. That's why Grimes didn't inherit the legacy of the WWE Hall of Famer, according to Knight.

The Way's Johnny Gargano campaigns for an NXT Championship match

Johnny Gargano came to the ring with Austin Theory to talk about the importance of crowning a new NXT Champion to fully kick off Samoa Joe's regime the right way. Gargano stated that he could outwrestle Karrion Kross on his worst day and was fishing for a shot at the champ. It wasn't Kross who answered the challenge, though.

Former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan came to the ring, calling Gargano mad for thinking he deserved to be the No.1 contender. Dunne and Lorcan were trying to start a riot, but Gargano refused as he and Theory didn't want to antagonize Samoa Joe.

Before leaving, Theory said he was watching Dunne. The Bruiserweight responded by snapping Theory's fingers.

We saw footage of 205 Live's Ari Sterling making fun of Ted Dibiase getting attacked. Cameron Grimes laughed along before popping him with a Superman punch, dropping money on him and stating "that was for Ted."

William Regal confronted Adam Cole backstage, telling him that any beef between Cole and Samoa Joe was done. Cole laughed in his face but stated that he'd leave tonight to not cause any further trouble.
