Before we get to Keith Lee's match against the debuting Luke Menzies, we got a great backstage promo video from Tomasso Ciampa.
Ciampa set the camera up himself and said that when he was injured he made a promise, and now he's fulfilled it. Ciampa added that NXT was his home now and no-one will survive what comes next. This was a great 'mirror' to Gargano's promo earlier in the night.
Keith Lee's match with Luke Menzies was nothing short of a squash match with his opponent only getting some offense in when he stopped to pose. Lee got a good amount of character work in and his charisma came across well on TV which is a good thing.
It's clear that NXT want Lee to look dominant and important. Still, a great moment for the recent NXT recruit Menzies though, who is right at the start of his wrestling career.
Result: Keith Lee Def. Luke Menzies
