It was the right stage once again. The hottest Canadian Babyface in NXT- Tye Dillinger went up against his toughest challenger, Champion Samoa Joe in front of a packed Canadian audience. There was a flurry of offence from both parties, with the crowd accentuating every one of Dillinger’s hits with a ‘ten’ chant.
Joe was in fine form too, mocking, trash talking and generally obliterating his opponent.

The main story in this match was how Dillinger, with all his heart, failed to deliver the Tye Breaker to the heavyweight Joe thrice in a row. Joe ended the match with a beautiful series of moves, culminating in the Coquina Clutch. Tye never tapped, but he faded and the referee rang the bell.
