We got another live show from this week, airing footage from the live event in Melbourne, Australia last December. The show had two title matches on it with #DIY defending the NXT Tag titles against the Australian duo of Shane Thorne and Nick Miller and Shinsuke Nakamura defending the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe.
The Revival vs Tino Sabatelli and Riddick Moss

The match started off with Scott Dawson and Riddick Moss. Dawson tried to catch him in an early headlock but Moss broke out of it and followed it up with a roll-up for a quick 2-count. Dawson kicks out as both men make tags.
Sabatelli comes in and catches a boot to the face from Dash Wilder. Wilder follows up the boot by mocking Sabatelli’s taunt.
Moss and Sabatelli hit back with a couple of double team moves as they looked to take control. Moss followed it up with a clothesline and Fallaway Slams on both members of The Revival. Sabatelli then got in on the action as Moss and Sabatelli knocked both members of the Revival out of the ring.
Wilder then distracts the referee as Dawson rakes Moss’ eyes to regain control as the “top guys” isolate Moss, keeping Sabatelli out of the frame. Moss finally manages to reach his corner and tag in Sabatelli who comes in and he picks up Dawson in a Gorilla Press and throws him at Wilder.
He then hits a slick Powerslam on Dawson for the nearfall. Moss then tries to roll up Wilder but Wilder kicks him off and onto the ropes. Dawson grabs onto Moss as Wilder looks to throw a forearm. He catches his partner by mistake and Riddick Moss rolls up Wilder for the nearfall.
Wilder then makes the tag to Dawson in the middle of an atomic drop. He then slides through the legs of Moss as The Revival catch him in a Shatter Machine. Dawson covers Moss for the pinfall.

Tye Dillinger & Buddy Murphy vs. Bobby Roode & Elias Samson
The fans in Australia did NOT like Elias Samson. He played a song after his entrance as the crowd chanted “you’re a w**ker” at him. The fans reserved loud reactions for Samson, Dillinger and of course their fellow Australian Buddy Murphy who came in with the national flag.
The GLORIOUS one and Buddy Murphy started this match off. The pair trade takedowns. Murphy then hits a low dropkick on Roode before the latter gets upset that water from Murphy’s hair went into his eyes. Murphy then tags Dillinger in as Roode scampered to tag Samson in instead of facing his old nemesis.
Samson and the “Perfect 10” were now the legal men as they squared off inside. Samson looked to take the upper hand by as he targeted Dillinger’s arm. Dillinger turned the tables after a snapmare on Samson as he taunted the Drifter along with the crowd. He followed it up with a springboard crossbody before tagging Murphy back in.
Murphy came in by hitting a springboard double stomp to Samson’s arm before the faces quickly rotated tags. Dillinger got tagged in and he wasn’t content with just taking on Samson. He got Roode into the ring and stomped at him in a corner. Samson took advantage after a distraction from Roode as he hit a running knee to Dillinger.
Roode then tagged himself in and hit a spinebuster on Dillinger before he and Samson went to work on Dillinger. Roode then gets hit by a Superkick from Dillinger as Murphy hits an over-the-top-rope dive on Roode.
Meanwhile, inside the ring, Dillinger hits the Tye-Breaker on Samson before pinning him.

Ember Moon vs. Liv Morgan vs. Billie Kay
A triple threat match from the women’s division followed up next. Ember Moon faced New Jersey’s own Liv Morgan and the local favourite Billie Kay. Kay got a loud reception from her compatriots as she made her way down to the ring.
Morgan and Moon go to shake hands but Billie Kay stops them before rolling out of the ring as chants of “Aussie Aussie Aussie” fill the arena. Moon pops up off the mat and hits a hurracanrana on Kiv Morgan as Billie Kay looks to blindside Ember Moon only to be thwarted. Morgan uses to distraction to hit a dropkick on Ember Moon which she followed up with a double facebuster on Moon and Kay.
Kay then dumps Morgan outside the ring. She follows it up with a boot to Ember Moon’s jaw, which Kay followed up with a cover for a 2-count. Kay is all over Morgan as the fans chant for Bayley which leads to Kay throwing insults at the fans.
Moon kicks Morgan off the apron as she tries to re-enter the ring. Kay then dumps both Moon and Liv Morgan over the top rope, with Morgan landing hard on the apron. Both women climb back into the ring as Kay looks to take advantage. Kay gets nearfalls on both women before hitting a Powerbomb on Morgan for another nearfall. Moon was on the top rope behind Kay as she stood back up in disbelief and Moon hit the Twisting Stunner on Kay for the 3-count.

#DIY vs TM61 (for the NXT Tag-Team Championships)
The Australian duo of Shane Thorne and Nick Miller got a huge ovation from the local fans as they made their way down to the ring. They were followed out by the super-over team of #DIY.
Both teams show each other a sign of respect before Shane Thorne and Tommaso Ciampa start us off. Both men show incredible agility as they go back and forth, countering each other’s moves with Thorne covering Ciampa early for a 2-count.
Gargano and Miller then get tagged in and the shake hands before squaring off. Miller works on Gargano’s arm before tagging Thorne back in. Throne hit repeated uppercuts to Gargano as the Aussies isolated one-half of the tag champions. Miller got tagged back in and hit a beautiful delayed suplex before Gargano finally hot back with a rolling kick before making the tag.
Ciampa comes in with a fire in his belly and hits knees and kicks to Miller in the corner before pinning him for a 2-count following a Northern Lights Suplex. Miller elbowed Ciampa in the face before making the tag to Thorne. Miller took Gargano out before TM61 hit their moonsault/fist drop combo.
TM61 sent the champs reeling outside the ring as they regrouped. Miller didn’t wait for Ciampa to get back into the ring and hit a suicide dive on both Gargano and Ciampa before rolling Ciampa back into the ring. Thorne then hits a Falcon Arrow on Ciampa as TM61 looked like they had a shot of winning the titles.
We came back from commercial to see Gargano hitting a dropkick on Sjane Thorne. Ciampa then gets tagged back in but he runs straight into a huge boot from Thorne who uses the opportunity to tag Miller in. Miller comes in hot and throws clothesline and knees Gargano before hitting a suplex on Ciampa. He then hit a vicious forearm to Ciampa for a nearfall.
Ciampa then breaks out of a deadlift German Suplex attempt from Miller and tags in Gargano who hits the slingshot spear on Miller. Gargano fought off both Miller and Thorne as Ciampa recovered at ringside. Gargano isolated Miller as Ciampa gets back up but Miller fights out of a double team move. He kicks Gargano off the apron as he hit an Exploder Suplex to Ciampa.
With Ciampa on the top rope, Miller and Thorne attempt a Tower Of Doom spot as Miller Powerbombed his own partner as he hit a superplex on Ciampa. Ciampa kicks out as Gargano and Miller throw slugs at each other before Miller hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for another nearfall. Gargano makes the tag as Miller looks up in disbelief.
Gargano and Ciampa throw Thorne out of the ring before hitting their Superkick/Running knee combo as they pinned Miller for the win.

The fans chanted for TM61 as DIY shake hands with Miller and Thorne before raising their hands.
Shinsuke Nakamura (C) vs Samoa Joe (Steel Cage match for the NXT Championship)
The Aussie crowd were hot as the challenger and the champion made their way out to the ring, chanting Joe's name and singing along to Nakamura's theme as he made his way down to the ring.
The two men squared off as they circled each other in the beginning as Nakamura hit a single-leg takedown to take Joe down to the mat. Joe then used his strength to break out and get up, pinning Nakamura into the ropes and the corner. Nakamura then taunted a livid Samoa Joe before kneeing him in the gut and hitting the Good Vibrations in the corner.
Joe then showed his incredible power as he launched Nakamura back-first into the steel cage before launching himself at Nakamura as he was pinned between the cage and the ropes.Nakamura then hit back with a spinning left heel kock before repeatedly kneeing Joe in the gut before looking for an inverted Exploder Suplex.
Joe avoided the Exploder Suplex but got hit by a devastating German Suplex instead. However, as Nakamura looked to finish Joe off with a running knee, Joe hit a snap Powerslam to take Nakamura down.
Both men then traded forearms in the middle of the ring before Joe stunned Nakamura with a series of open hand strikes. Joe then locked in the Coquina Clutch but Nakamura managed to use the turnbuckle to break out of the hold before Joe could lock it in properly.
Nakamura then caught Joe with a sliding knee strike to the head for a nearfall. Nakamura then made the first attempt to climb out of the cage but Joe met him on the top turnbuckle and attempted a top-rope Muscle Buster. Thankfully for Nakamura, he brke out of it and smashed Joe's face against the cage before hitting a top-rope Powerbomb.
Nakamura then climbed back up to the top turnbuckele and balanced himself on the top rope before hitting a flying Kinshasa to Joe. It looked devastating.
Both men were down on the mat as Nakamura willed himself towards the open cage door. Nakamura shut the cage door and turned towards Joe and hit another Kinshasa as the crowd chanted "one more time". Joe got back on his feet somehow as Nakamura hit another Kinshasa before finally pinning Joe to pick up the win. An epic battle to end an epic feud. That was intense.
