Kairi Sane is in action for the first time since winning the NXT Women's Title and she entered the arena and revealed that she keeps the title in a treasure chest, because NXT is amazing and of course she does!

Kairi's opponent was Trish Adora who is a Dudley Boyz trainee from Washington. Unfortunately for Adora 'The Pirate Princess' wasted no time in plundering her. And by 'plundering' I mean that Sane kicked poor Adora's butt.
Result: Kairi Sane Def. Trish Adora
Kairi celebrated after the match but was interrupted by former NXT Women's Champ, 'The Queen of Spades' Shayna Baszler. Baszler destroyed the treasure chest and basically told Kairi she wouldn't be champion for long. Baszler then hit the ring and the two brawled but Sane ran Baszler off in the end.
Tomasso Ciampa backstage promo
We see another excellent backstage promo from Tomasso Ciampa, this time explaining that the reason he hasn't been on NXT since TakeOver is that there's no-one to take him on, he doesn't have a #1 Contender now that Gargano and Black are gone
After that, we head back to William Regal's office where he's talking to none other than Lars Sullivan who annihilated EC3 and Raul Mendoza last week. Regal asked Sullivan about Black's attack and Sullivan told him that he was there to attack Aleister, but when he got there someone had beaten him to it. Regal booked Sullivan vs Raul Mendoza on next week's show after revealing that EC3 wasn't cleared to compete (RIP Mendoza)
