Hideo Itami vs. Oney Lorcan
Before the match, the cameras caught up with Itami who was asked if he was going back to Japan. Itami said that he his work in WWE wasn’t done. The two men seemed evenly matched, until the first rope break when Itami caught Lorcan with a slap. Itami followed this up with two hard knees to Lorcan’s gut. The two men traded offence until Lorcan gained the advantage with an impressive Blockbuster. Lorcan’s dive to the outside was stopped with a stiff kick, but Lorcan kicked out during Itami’s attempt at a pinfall.
Itami escaped a pinfall attempt from Lorcan, and no sold many of his chops. Lorcan escaped a GTS attempt and slapped Itami hard repeatedly, thereafter delivering a flurry of uppercuts. Lorcan hit a high spot, and Itami was dazed. He played possum, only to seize advantage when Lorcan entered the ring and then attacked him viciously.
Itami hit Lorcan with the GTS multiple times until Ohno had to intervene and confront this newly converted heel. Itami pushed Ohno, and then Ohno pushed Itami, only to have Itami back off leaving Ohno in the middle of the ring.
Result: No contest
