Oney Lorcan vs Danny Burch

Oney Lorcan got a hard fought victory over Danny Burch a couple of weeks ago before agreeing to Burch;s request for a rematch. We got that rematch next. It wasn’t as good as the first time they met but it was still good.

The two men squared off before locking up. Lorcan drove Burch into the corner before the two men locked up again.

Following a slow start, Burch locked in a Cravat hold but Lorcan managed to break it. Burch then countered a leapfrog from Lorcan into a flapjack before the two men traded uppercuts. Lorcan then hit Burch with an Alabama Slam right into the corner turnbuckle. As the two men made their way back to their feet we cut to commercial.

We came back from the break just as Oney Lorcan hit Danny Burch with a back bodydrop. After more back and forth between the two men, Danny Burch hit a German Suplex out of nowhere before following it up immediately with a lariat. Burch only got a 2-count off the following pinning attempt.

Burch followed it up with a Tower Of London off the top rope but Oney kicked out once again. Lorcan responded by exploding out of the corner with an European Uppercut. He followed it up with a running Blockbuster but this time Danny Burch kicked out at 2.

Burch then invited Lorcan to hit him but dodged his incoming opponent and connected with a knee to the face. He followed it up with a flurry of slaps across the face before Oney Lorcan locked in a Boston Crab. Burch rolled Lorcan up mid-Boston Crab and pinned him.

This was probably the biggest win of Danny Burch’s career. He offered Lorcan his hand after the match and Lorcan slapped it away before finally accepting it.
