Did the fan favourite couple finally get one over Almas and his associate?

Candice LeRae vs Zelina Vega

Ent — The grudge match was never going to go uninterrupted!

Candice started the match off on the right foot, but unsurprisingly, Andrade 'Cien' Almas came to distract Candice.

Gargano soon came ringside to even the odds. The crowd was rallying behind Candice and Zelina seemed to take a page of Almas' book when she hit the running double knees.

Candice would soon start to fight back, with Gargano and the audience cheering her on. She hit a missile dropkick from the top turnbuckle onto Vega, who kicked out.

LeRae landed a Gargano escape on Vega and when Almas tried to break it up, Gargano hit a hurricanrana and a Gargano escape onto Almas.

Vega tapped out, leaving the couple to stand tall and in the process sending Almas and Vega packing to SmackDown Live.

Candice LeRae defeated Zelina Vega

After the match, Johnny Gargano challenged Aleister Black for a shot at the NXT Championship. Black came out, accepted his challenge and set the date for next week!
