Pete Dunne vs Ilja Dragunov on NXT
The main event of this week's NXT was next. Pete Dunne started the match strong, trying to work over Dragunov's arm. The Russian hit back with a Fireman's Carry but was grounded but Dunne once again. A double leg takedown by Dragunov was quickly reversed and Dunne locked in a submission.
Both men were back on their feet but Dragunov hit a German suplex followed by an enziguiri. The Russian star was on top at this point of the match as he headed to the top rope.

It was almost a mistake as Dunne joined him on the top turnbuckle. Dragunov pushed the Bruiserweight off and launched himself at Dunne who caught him with a nasty-looking strike.
Back from the break, Dragunov was on top with a series of running strikes. He then rained down elbow strikes on Dunne before planting him on the mat. Dunne locked in an armbar and Dragunov replied with a modified powerbomb. Dunne went for the injured hand again and Ilja was really feeling it at this point. Dunne went to hit the Bitter End but Dragunov countered and escaped, hitting a suplex for a near fall. Dragunov headed to the top rope and hit a Senton.
WALTER's music hit and the WWE NXT UK Champion came out. Dunne tried to blindside Dragunov but he caught Dunne with a knee strike. However, the Ring General distracted Ilja long enough for Dunne to capitalize.
The Bruiserweight hit The Bitter End for the win.
Result: Pete Dunne def. Ilja Dragunov

WALTER entered the ring after the match but Dragunov had enough left to fight the NXT UK Champion off.
