Mia Yim vs Vanessa Bourne w/Aliyah

Bourne brought Mia Yim down early with a kick to the gut and a side headlock. Yim reversed, locking up Bourne with one of her own. Getting shot off into the ropes, Yim dropped her with a shoulder block. A shot to the throat left Bourne down on one knee. However, as Yim came off the ropes, she was caught by Aliyah, allowing Bourne to plant her with a Samoan Drop.

Bourne went to the apron with Yim hung up in between the ropes, labeling her a "lower" with a sticker on her backside. Back inside the ring, Yim responded with a takedown and a series of punches. In the corner, Bourne was pelted by chops. Across the ring, a cannonball senton connected, and Yim ended the "Higher's" night with the Protect Ya Neck.

Results: Mia Yim defeated Vanessa Bourne via pinfall.

Following the match, NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler walked out to the stage. The Queen of Spades gave Yim props, saying that she's badass, and fought her in a way nobody else has been able to do.

At TakeOver, she saw in her eyes what Yim had to do to get where she is. Because of that, Baszler hoped that they could make a truce, and that Yim would join her and the other two Horsewomen, Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke, who had cornered Yim on the apron.

Yim thought for a moment, but decided against it, attacking both Shafir & Duke. Baszler jumped in, and the trio beat Yim down before four officials rushed the ring, breaking up the assault.
