Killian Dain vs Matt Riddle
Riddle snuck up on Dain during his entrance and leaped on the former NXT Tag Team Champion. The two traded strikes, with Riddle pelting the big man with a series of precision strikes while Dain waylayed him with massive clubbing blows, looking for home runs every time.
Riddle sent Dain outside and dove onto him off the steel steps. Back inside though, Dain countered a grapple attempt, rocking Riddle with a ripcord shoulder block and a running crossbody. A suplex from Dain earned him a two-count. Riddle was locked in a seated abdominal stretch, with Dain forcing pressure on Riddle's neck while shoving his face towards the mat.
Riddle escaped and tried to respond with a few shots to the gut, but Dain shrugged them off and kicked him in the gut, right into the taped ribs. Dain stood on top of them, with Riddle screaming out in pain.
A deadlift gutbuster left Riddle grabbing at his stomach while Dain continued to pelt him with strikes before trying to lock him in a camel clutch of sorts. Riddle turned it around, nearly locking in a front facelock. Dain leapt back to his feet to escape Riddle's hands but Riddle met him standing bringing Dain over for a Brobuster.
The two then met on their feet again, with Riddle avoiding Dain's hammer-like fists for some stiff combinations. A penalty kick was avoided by Dain, but as he rolled away, was crushed by a Broton. The PK connected this time, and Riddle began battering Dain with elbow strikes to the side of the neck. Dain rolled into the ropes to break up Riddle's offense.
Riddle was again able to drop Dain, countering a powerslam with a German suplex. A knee rocked Dain, but as Riddle celebrated, he recovered and sent him into the corner with a shotgun dropkick, followed up by a cannonball senton. Riddle broke out, and countered a running senton with a Bromission attempt. Dain made it to his feet and sent Riddle over with a hip toss. Dain stunned him with a Bro to Sleep, following up with a powerbomb.
A knee strike seemingly put him away, but Dain managed to kick out. Riddle ascended the ropes, but as he dove off for a rolling Broton, Dain lifted his knees up. Dain then drove him shoulder first into the ring post. Dain followed Riddle around the ring where the Original Bro was sitting up next to the steel steps.
Dain rushed in, but Riddle avoided, damaging Dain's shoulder. Riddle moved the top half of the steps, but was sent onto them face first with a back body drop. The running senton across the steps left Riddle gasping for air. Dain continued the torture with a Vader Bomb off the apron. Back inside the ring, Dain hit another Vader Bomb, and another. Finally, one last Vader Bomb ended the match, with blood trickling from Matt Riddle's mouth.
Results: Killian Dain defeated Matt Riddle via pinfall.
Following the match, Riddle tried to chase Dain to the back, ending the night with an attempt at revenge.
