WWE NXT Results (December 4th, 2019): Rhea Ripley gets revenge, Undisputed Era basks in Keith Lee's Glory

We got a great video package of Kushida, the Time Splitter that's been gone for some time following an injury that derailed a pretty great run for him. Tonight, though, Kushida returns.

Xia Li vs Shayna Baszler

Xia Li managed to sweep Shayna Baszler's legs, leading to a ground and pound trade between the two. Baszler had trouble locking in the Kirifuda Clutch. Li rocked the champ with a spinning roundhouse, but as she moved towards the ropes, Baszler hung her arm up.

Now back in the middle of the ring, it was joint manipulation time for the Queen of Spades. The arm popping stomp connected, leaving Li writhing in pain. Li shook off a submission hold, though, and rocked her opponent with a straight kick to the chest. A fast striking combination lit up Baszler, but she managed to get her hands on Li, bringing her up top for a super gutwrench.

Li countered and planted Baszler with a powerbomb. Baszler kicked out and avoided the Tornado Kick, synching in the Kirifuda Clutch for the win.

Results: Shayna Baszler defeated Xia Li via submission.
