Two championship matches saw another great episode of NXT in the bag. Here's what you missed from the yellow brand of WWE.
Pete Dunne vs Roderick Strong - United Kingdom Championship match

The crowd was split in two for this match. The bout saw a hot start with them grappling and shoving each other. The action went outside the ring quick, where Dunne would manipulate Strong's joints while Roderick Strong hit his series of backbreakers within the ring.
A great match saw a heavy back and forth between the two, firing the crowd up to kick off the show. Dunne even ate a massive dropkick when he jumped off the top rope. The two competitors showed some tremendous ring IQ.
What followed would be a series of stiff exchanges, and when Dunne escaped a Tiger Bomb, Roderick Strong attempted a sharpshooter. Dunne got the bitter end out of nowhere for the win.

Aleister Black makes his intentions known

Aleister Black was dressed in a suit, and he came out to let his title aspirations known. However, he was interrupted by Killian Dain, who said that he wouldn't rest until the NXT Championship was around his waist. He warned Black that his path will be stopped by chaos.
Aleister responded saying that since he crossed him, he'd have to fade to black. The two stared down across the ramp.
TM-61 vs John Skylar and Andrew Duckworth

Nick Miller started off against Skylar. Shane Thorne was tagged in and the local talent opponents started attacking his injured knee. Nick Miller tagged in fast and the duo didn't take long to finish them, greeting their opponents from Thunder Valley for the win.

Ember Moon vs Shayna Baszler - NXT Women's Championship

Ember Moon came out in Kinesio tape. Ember Moon started off with the dropkick but kicked Shayna while she was down. She wasted no time in going to the top rope for an eclipse, but Shayna realised it quick and rolled out of the ring, buying herself some time. It apparently wasn't enough time, because Ember Moon hit a vicious mid-rope suicide dive, seemingly re-injuring herself in the process.
Shayna mercilessly went right for the armbar and almost got pinned again the same way she did at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia. Shayna continued to decimate Ember's injured arm until the champion reached the ropes for the break. After another pin attempt, Ember Moon got thrown into the ringpost to the outside of the ring.
On the outside, Shayna put Ember's arms through the steel barricade and tugged on it. She wasn't done assaulting Ember, until Kairi Sane came out and elbowed her, disqualifying the champion.
