Solo Sikoa and Bivens were backstage on NXT and Sikoa reminded Bivens that he attacked Gunther for his own benefit and not to save him.
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Dolph Ziggler on NXT
Tommaso Ciampa tried for an early Fairytale Ending but it was denied before Dolph Ziggler unloaded on him on the mat. Ciampa took Ziggler out with some clotheslines and got some big strikes in before tossing him out of the ring with a huge knee.
Ziggler was still taking a beating when we returned after a break on NXT. He tried to fight back and they traded strikes before Ciampa unloaded on The Showoff with kicks in the corner.
Dolph Ziggler took a knee strike and a powerbomb but still managed to kick out. Ciampa set up for a second knee before Ziggler got a rope break with his leg. He got the ZigZag on the outside before they barely broke the count of 10.
Ciampa was locked in a hold but lifted Ziggler and dropped him before they traded kicks on the apron. Tommaso Ciampa hit the air raid crash on the apron before a man in black disguised as a cameraman came in and hit him with a camera.
The ref missed the distraction and it let Dolph Ziggler get the win with the superkick.
Result: Dolph Ziggler def. Tommaso Ciampa
After the match, the masked cameraman revealed himself to be Robert Roode and the Dirty Dawgs attacked Ciampa. Bron Breakker came out to make the save and after the Dawgs nearly walked out, they came back to the ring and a huge brawl broke out to close out the show.
