Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs Jake Atlas on NXT

The NXT Cruiserweight Champion has had trouble with both of these men. Isaiah Scott owns the only pinfall victory over Santos Escobar, and Jake Atlas nearly picked up a win over the champ himself.

Scott and Atlas avoided each other's kicks, but a dropkick caught Swerve on the mouth. Atlas followed up with a springboard arm drag. Scott countered a dropkick with an Oklahoma roll, but Atlas kicked out.

A springboard blockbuster dropped Scott, and Atlas countered a rolling flatliner with a kick to the jaw. The headlock Impaler DDT gave him a two-count. Swerve was able to catch Atlas with the flatliner, but couldn't put Atlas away.

Both men jockeyed for position on the ropes, leading to Atlas hitting Murphy's Law from the second rope! Swerve still kicked out! As Atlas set up for the Rainbow DDT, Swerve sent him to the floor. the House Call on the floor connected, and Scott was able to pin Atlas inside the ring with the JML Driver.

Results: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Jake Atlas via pinfall on NXT.
