Dakota Kai is unstoppable...with Raquel Gonzalez in her corner

Candice LeRae tried to get in the face of Keith Lee but was caught off guard by Mia Yim, who took her to task as we moved onto our next match on NXT.

Kayden Carter w/Kacy Catanzaro vs Dakota Kai w/Raquel Gonzalez on NXT

Kayden Carter took Dakota Kai down with a double leg takedown, followed by a running crossbody. Kai kicked out of a sunset flip but was caught by a springboard side-kick. She led Carter around the ring, hoping to get a distraction from Gonzalez. Carter saw it coming and seemingly outsmarted the duo.

However, Gonzalez's presence did allow Kai to hit a Scorpion Kick. Carter shook it off, bringing Kai down with a wheelbarrow victory roll into a sidekick to the jaw. A knee caught Kai coming through the ropes, and a rope-assisted facebuster dropped Kai face first.

Gonzalez distracted Carter again after dropping Catanzaro on the apron. This allowed Kai to force a submission from Carter.

Results: Dakota Kai defeated Kayden Carter on NXT.

Grade: B-
