Backstage, Cathy Kelly was interrupted by the Forgotten Sons, who stormed William Regal's office after being "forgotten about" in the NXT Tag Team Championship match again.

Kona Reeves vs Kushida

Reeves planted Kushida quickly with a mat slam. Kushida took over, though, bringing him down on his back. The two jockeyed for position here, but a pair of arm drags left the Finest in a hammerlock.

At this point, 205 Live's Drew Gulak came out to the top of the ramp, watching the action from afar. At this point, Reeves slammed Kushida and kept on the attack with a series of fists followed by a running knee. A suplex brought Reeves a pinfall attempt, but Kushida broke out. Kushida caught Reeves with a pair of kicks as he was hanging in the ropes, and hit him with a springboard double ax handle.

A few more kicks stunned Reeves, and he was met with a springboard back elbow. Reeves kicked out of a pinfall and was caught in the Hoverboard Lock. Reeves escaped, but was sent to the outside with a handspring kick as he attempted to run off the ropes.

Kushida followed up with a somersault plancha to the outside and dropped Reeves with a tilt-a-whirl armbar before transitioning to the Hoverboard Lock for the win.

Results: Kusida defeated Kona Reeves via submission.

Gulak walked away unimpressed by Kushida, likely due to his high flying offense.

Bianca Belair was being followed by Cathy Kelly, but was met by Mia Yim. The HBIC said that she was ready to take care of business, flustering Belair as she went into Regal's office.
