We got a great Christmas Special episode of WWE NXT tonight with a big title change. Additionally, a huge tornado tag team match took place to crown the #1 Contenders for the Tag Team Championship.

WWE NXT Results: Cora Jade vs. Stephanie Vaquer
Vaquer was in control early on, but Jade missed a running knee before taking some big suplexes. Cora headed outside for a breather before returning with a slingshot knee.
Jade got a backstabber/lung blower before Vaquer returned with lariats and knees. Cora was caught in a modified Figure Four before Vaquer transitioned to a knee bar variation. Jade escaped the hold but took the neckbreaker for the three-count.
Result: Stephanie Vaquer def. Cora Jade
After the match, Kelani Jordan ran out and attacked Cora Jade with a Kendo Stick before Vaquer dragged her away.
Grade: B
The D'Angelo Family was backstage and said that they had beef with Santa Claus and that they were going to win the tag titles.
William Regal told Lexis King he would be in his corner for tonight's Heritage Cup match, and King told him he would win this time. After King left, Regal took out the brass knuckles and said Lexis misunderstood his question.
WWE NXT Results: Charlie Dempsey (c) vs. Lexis King - Heritage Cup match
Round 1 saw King get takedowns and a cover before Dempsey tried for an ankle lock. Lexis got a dropkick before the champ got another takedown for a near fall. Round 2 kicked off with Dempsey in control with uppercuts and a half-crab submission, but Lexis broke out and hit a superkick and a Sunset Flip for a near fall.
Dempsey got a dragon screw and a German Suplex before the clock counted down. Most of Round 3 was during a break, and in Round 4, King got a big butterfly suplex and a superkick before Regal handed him the brass knuckles. Lexis refused to use it, and Regal hit King with it, knocking him out. Dempsey was investigating what happened and raised the knuckles as the ref saw it and disqualified him.

WWE NXT Results: Fatal Influence vs. Unholy Union
Fyre and Nyx kicked off the match, and Alba hit a big boot and an uppercut early on before Jayne tagged in. Gigi Dolin, Shotzi, and Tatum Paxley showed up at the ringside, and Shawn Spears watched from backstage as the match went on.
After a break on NXT, Fatal Influence made a comeback with Jacy getting some big moves on Dawn and getting a chin lock in. Jayne and Alba took each other out with headbutts before Carter and Chance came out at ringside. Unholy Union used the distraction to get the KLR Bomb/reverse STO combo and win.

WWE NXT Results: Ashante “Thee” Adonis vs. Dion Lennox
Ashante was in control early on but took a big dropkick before coming back with right hooks. Lennox took some boots to the face before Nikkita Lyons came out to cheer Ashante on at ringside.
Dion tried for a backslide before Adonis hit him with an elbow and locked in a reverse chin lock. Dion broke out and came back with a spinebuster before Lyons broke the pin by putting Ashante's foot on the ropes. The two traded rollups in the ring before Ashante got a bridging pin for the win.

Gigi Dolin, Shotzi, and Tatum Paxley were backstage when they ran into Carter and Chance and then Meta-Four as they argued about which team was better.
Ethan Page appeared in a video promo and said that he broke Je'Von Evans' jaw and that Evans was to blame. He said that he found his smile by taking the Young OG's.
WWE NXT Results: The D’Angelo Family vs. Hank and Tank vs. No Quarter Catch Crew vs. OTM - Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Christmas Chaos Match
Luca and Stacks sprayed their opponents with a fire extinguisher before Tavion stole it and cleared the ring with Miles. OTM was in control next, but Hank and Tank took them out with a Christmas tree before Stacks and Luca came back with a gift-wrapped briefcase and took them out before getting Hank in the crotch with a bowling ball.
OTM slammed Luca on the apron and sent Stacks through the snacks table at ringside before we headed for a break. Back on NXT, OTM cleared the ring, but Hank came in with a flying clothesline. Tyson and Tyriq attacked Hank and Tank before Tony D'Angelo handed Stacks and Luca two crowbars.
Santa Claus was at ringside and took Tony out with a DDT before OTM got their combined finisher on Stacks for the win.

After the match, Santa Claus took off his disguise, and it turned out that it was Ridge Holland!

Trick Williams was out next and Oba Femi interrupted him, saying that we are now looking to the 'future'. Eddy Thorpe also came out and said he wasn't pinned properly last week. Oba said that Trick would only be champ for two more weeks since he would dethrone him at New Year's Evil.
Trick said he wanted a triple-threat match, and Oba said he was doing this since he knew he couldn't beat Femi one-on-one. Ava came out and made the match official before a big brawl broke out in the ring.
Oba took out both Trick and Eddy and hit a big powerbomb on the champ, but Thorpe escaped before Femi stood in the ring holding the title, and NXT went off the air.
