Pete Dunne and Ricochet made history this week on NXT when both men put their titles on the line in a winner take all match. Dunne and Ricochet have created their own history over the past few weeks and Dunne made it clear that he blames 'The One and Only' for their tag team loss against Undisputed Era a few weeks ago.

This was a hotly anticipated match and the crowd inside Full Sail University were definitely in full voice as the two stars got a feel for each other in the opening exchanges. Ricochet seemingly took a page out of Dunne's handbook as he worked the arm for much of the match before The Bruiserweight was able to switch the match to his advantage and manipulate the fingers of The North American Champion.

It's hard to imagine either of these men being dual Champions but both men still fought hard for the opportunity and Dunne definitely dominated the match as soon as he was able to ground the high flying star.

The Xplex almost gave Dunne the win but Ricochet was able to push his shoulder off the mat at two as both men started to show the effects of a grueling match. Dunne then went for The Bitter End but it was counter after counter from two men who knew each other so well before Dunne went on to deliver a fantastic XPlex on the apron. The One And Only could have easily picked up the win a number of times but came closest when he hit a reverse spikerana and Dunne was able to agonizingly kick out at two and three quarters.

Ricochet was sure he had made history when he delivered an incredible handspring into a DDT, but once again Dunne proved why he was the longest reigning Champion in WWE as he found a way to remain in the match. Dunne later reversed a springboard 450 into a triangle choke before locking in a submission on the arm but he was deadlifted by Ricochet into a brainbuster. The crowd was completely behind the two men but the WWE Universe was then denied a clean ending that they so desperately wanted.

The Undisputed Era obviously didn't want anyone else in NXT to take their spotlight, which is why the trio made their way to the ring to ensure that neither title was able to change hands in this match.

Match Result: No Contest

Undisputed Era obviously has a history with both men which is why they decided to attack both Dunne and Ricochet but The War Raiders then ran The Undisputed Era out of the building since it's obvious that they are coming for their Tag Team Championships.

The show ended with Dunne and Ricochet holding their respective Championships on opposite sides of the ring.
