WWE NXT Results: Shocking title change; multiple debuts; Jey Uso invades!

Trick Williams kicked off WWE NXT and celebrated his NXT Championship win, saying his name was now Tricky Two-Time.

Wes Lee showed up to say that he had his sights set on the NXT Title now that he was done with the Rascalz.

Williams fired back, saying that Lee was a backstabber before Jey Uso showed up on NXT! The two champs celebrated in the ring, and Trick noted that no one will take thier titles away tonight.

Before the show moved on, Lee was checking his phone, not amused by the champs.

WWE NXT Results: Kelani Jordan, Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs. Fatal Influence

Jordan was isolated by Fatal Influence before the Women's Tag Champs rushed the ring and hit triple slams on the heels. Bianca Belair was tagged in, and she bench-pressed Fallon Henley before spearing her into the corner and unloading it with right hooks.

Jacy Jayne dragged Belair by the hair before getting taken out by the champ, who got a vertical suplex and a moonsault on Henley for a nearfall. Jade Cargill came in for a double-team move before dropping Jordan on Henley for another near fall. Jordan was sent outside, and Jayne got a cannonball from the apron as the match continued.

After a break, Cargill hit a backbreaker on Henley before getting the Fallaway slam on Jazmyn Nyx. Jordan took Henley and Jayne out at ringside with a moonsault before Cargill and Belair hit Nyx with a big double-team move and let Kelani get the moonsault for the win.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom were backstage when Randy Orton asked them about Je'Von Evans. Axiom said that Evans might be the fastest guy in NXT, and Frazer got offended, saying he was the fastest.



Giulia was in a backstage interview when someone knocked on the door, interrupting her. She said, "Hello, old friend," before walking out of the interview.


Roxanne Perez was out next and said she was happy to reignite an old friendship.

Cora Jade showed up and said that everyone had forgotten about her in her absence.

Jade said she was back to put the brand's women's division on the map, and Roxanne said she wished she had listened to Cora's advice years ago.

Giulia showed up and was followed by Stephanie Vaquer, who rushed the ring, attacking Jade and Perez. The newcomers ejected the champ and her friend from the ring before holding up the NXT Women's Title in the ring.


Lexis King was backstage and asked No Quarter Catch Crew and Charlie Dempsey how to prevent Oro Mensah from cheating in a rematch with him. Dempsey told him about Admiral-Lord Mountevans' rules, which interested Kingo.


WWE NXT Results: Oba Femi (c) vs. Tony D'Angelo - North American Championship match

Oba taunted D'Angelo, but the challenger got some big strikes early on. As the match went on, Tony was taking a beating, and Stacks tossed the crowbar for him to use, but The Don shook his head and tossed it back to him.

Tony sent the champ outside before Oba taunted the Family and pushed Stacks and Luca down, taking out Rizzo. The Don was fuming and unloaded on the champ at ringside before getting a near fall in the ring.

Oba returned with a big boot and the chokeslam for a near fall of his own. Tony returned with a series of German Suplexes before he was tossed across the ring.

Oba cleared the announce table but missed the powerbomb before Tony hit him with the spinebuster. Tony got another spine buster back in the ring before getting the rollover pin.

Result: Tony D'Angelo def. Oba Femi to become the new North American Champion

Nikkita Lyons was back, and Lola Vice picked a fight with her, making Ava book them into a match.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were backstage when Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson challenged them to a tag title match. The champs invited them to SmackDown for the match.


WWE NXT Results: Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) vs. A-Town Down Under - NXT Tag Team Championship match

The champs were in control early on, and Frazer came in with a big missile dropkick before getting an elbow in the corner but took a spinning flat liner. Axiom came in, and the champs hit a double-team move on the challengers for a near fall.

Frazer went up top for a splash, but Theory took him out. Axiom caught Waller in a submission hold before Frazer did the same to Theory. Theory broke the holds when he dropped Frazer on top of Waller and Axiom.

Theory accidentally wiped Waller out before Axiom took Austin down with a big kick. Waller took a Canadian Destroyer from Axiom before he hit the Spanish Fly, and Frazer came in with the Phoenix Splash for the win.

Result: Axiom & Nathan Frazer def. A-Town Down Under to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship

Sexyy Red was out to perform in the ring before she was interrupted by Ethan Page. He said the concert was canceled since Red interrupted him last night on RAW.

The former champ said that the brand was falling apart after he lost the title. Page said it was his ring, and he wasn't leaving until he got a NXT Championship rematch. Je'Von Evans attacked Page before tossing him out of the ring and celebrating as we headed for another break.


We got a short teaser for a red-haired female superstar who was headed to the brand.


WWE NXT Results: Randy Orton vs. Je'Von Evans

Randy Orton made his NXT debut tonight to face the Young OG Je'Von Evans. Evans got some big moves early on and Randy rolled out of the ring for a breather as we headed for a break.

Randy slammed Evans on the announce desk four times when we came back. Back inside the ring, Evans got a springboard crossbody before getting a near fall.

Evans hit a superkick before getting a springboard cutter. Randy tried to reverse the next dive into an RKO but failed to connect. He picked Evans back up to his feet and hit the RKO before getting the win.

Result: Randy Orton def. Je'Von Evans

Grade: B


Backstage, Ava told Wes Lee and Ethan Page that they had to earn the title match.


Ava said that next week, they would face each other and Je'Von Evans in a triple-threat No.1 Contender's match before the show went off the air.
