More footage was shown from NXT TakeOver: New York, highlighting the incredible NXT Tag Team Championship match between Aleister Black & Ricochet and the War Raiders. Hanson and Rowe faced a pretty impressive duo in Black & Ricochet, opening the show with arguably the match of the night. However, they would ultimately put away the challengers after a devastating Fallout to Ricochet for the pinfall.
Black and Ricochet bowed to the War Raiders, who returned the sentiment, then took in the moment in front of the WWE Universe, as it was their final match on the Black and Yellow Brand.
We were also shown the footage of Kushida signing with NXT. The Ace of the Jrs was shown ringside on Friday night, as well as backstage with Triple H and William Regal where he officially signed his contract.
Danny Burch w/Oney Lorcan vs Jaxson Ryker w/The Forgotten Sons
Burch rushed Ryker with a boot, sending him into the corner and following up with a headbutt. Ryker weathered the storm, and quickly got on top after sweeping Burch's legs out from under him when he went up to the second rope.
Ryker hammered away on Burch with repeated elbow drops to the torso and a back suplex. A diving headbutt gave Ryker a two count, but Burch kicked out. The leader of the Sons attempted to slow down the pace with a sleeper hold, but Burch countered it with a jawbreaker.
Several chops and right hands stunned Ryker. A clothesline sent him into the corner, where he was rocked with an enziguri. Burch finally took him off his feet with a missile dropkick. The Sons rushed him, but Burch leveled them while Oney Lorcan finished them with a dive.
Burch countered a Michinoku Driver with a roll-up. Ryker kicked out and leveled Burch with a vicious ax bomber, finishing him off with No Remorse.
Results: Jaxson Ryker defeated Danny Burch via pinfall.
Ryker continued the beatdown on Burch, but Oney Lorcan interrupted, rocking him with stiff shots to his jaw. He fought off the rest of the Sons for a time, but eventually fell to the numbers game.
Highlight footage was shown of the NXT Women's Championship match from Friday. The Fatal-4-Way was completely chaotic, including some incredible aerial offense from Io Shirai and Kairi Sane. The Sky Pirates were taken out with a Double K.O.D. from Bianca Belair, but the Est. of NXT would fall to Shayna Baszler thanks to the Kirafuda Clutch.
Post-match, Baszler said that she's never losing the title. It doesn't matter who challenges her, she'll run through all competitors.
