#1 Parker Boudreaux debuts to confront the winner of the WWE NXT Championship match at TakeOver 36

The NXT Championship match at TakeOver 36 could go either way on Sunday night. Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe will give their best during the contest in hopes of winning gold.

Kross has been dominant in NXT and will look to put away another former main roster superstar to make a statement. Meanwhile, Joe will look to make a successful return to the ring on Sunday and become the first-ever three-time NXT Champion in the process.

After the match, the victor could come face-to-face with their next challenger right away. Parker Boudreaux could make his surprise debut at TakeOver 36 following the NXT Championship match between Kross and Joe.

Fans expected Boudreaux to be part of the ongoing NXT Breakout Tournament, but the brand seems to have held him back for something bigger. The Brock Lesnar lookalike could debut and immediately get in the face of the champion to make a statement.

He could then pick up some quick victories on the brand in the months to come before challenging the NXT Champion for the title.
