Ricochet and Adam Cole took it to new heights in their match

Cole and Ricochet tried each other out, testing each other for their abilities.

Adam Cole slowed down the action in the ring, with locks and strikes on Ricochet. He kept Ricochet grounded and shouted at him that he was not special. Cole hit an Argentine Neckbreaker and then went back to the headlock on the mat.

Ricochet rolled through and hit the Dropkick on Adam Cole sending him outside. He followed him out with a Spinning Backdrop Dive, landing on his feet. Ricochet hit a Tiger Feint Kick on Cole and with a Backdrop almost picked up the pinfall.

Ricochet hit the Standing Shooting Starplex on Cole and a Spinning Starship Pain for the near fall. Cole and Ricochet exchanged strikes, but Cole hit Ricochet with a Backstabber. Ricochet displayed his spirit, as he was coming in for a dive, and countered Cole's superkick right there on the spot. He went for a Lionsault, but Adam Cole hit Ricochet with an astounding Superkick to the neck followed by a Brainbuster for a near fall.

Cole tried to hit Ricochet with a kick, but he dodged and the two exchanged strikes again. Cole hit Ricochet with a Superkick and both fell, with Cole falling on Ricochet for a near fall. Ricochet played possum and hit Cole with a Frankensteiner, but could not hit the 630 as Cole rolled to the Apron.

Ricochet followed Cole out and hit a Hurricanrana from the apron to the outside. He then sent him back in the ring to hit the 630 Splash on him to pick up the win. The win made him the new North American Champion.

Result: Ricochet defeated Adam Cole to become the new NXT North American Champion.
