Imperium has stood by WALTER’s side in WWE NXT since May 2019. The faction of Fabian Aichner, Alexander Wolfe, and Marcel Barthel has dominated NXT and NXT UK.

Given WALTER will be defending his NXT UK Championship at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Imperium will likely be at WALTER’s side for the match. Even though WALTER has the strength and skills to take out Tommaso Ciampa by himself, Imperium could still help him out during the contest.

At TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, WWE could book Ciampa as a strong contender to dethrone WALTER from the NXT UK throne. Ciampa could come close to a victory before Imperium jumps in to protect their leader and causes a disqualification in the process.

Imperium could then assault The Blackheart, leading to Timothy Thatcher coming out to make the save and possibly get in WALTER’s face. The entire angle will help NXT build towards a future rivalry between WALTER and Thatcher.

Since the rivalry between Imperium and Ciampa has sparked due to Thatcher, it could be the right call to have Thatcher stand tall at the end of the segment.
