WWE to offer financial and educational support for talent

The WWE is all set to start a brand new incentive called the Professional Developmental Program, aimed at educational and financial assistance to former WWE talents.

WWE currently provides support to its superstars with drug rehab programs and rehab centers. The new incentive will look to help wrestlers move on after their in-ring careers draw to a close.

WWE will collaborate with Money Management International, a non-profit organization who will help to provide financial education and benefit the wrestlers with strong financial future once they leave the business.

For former talent, the WWE is also offering a scholarship of up to $5,000 a year to help them work towards a college degree or certificate program.

In the past, the WWE has continually worked to provide assistance to former talent who suffer from alcohol and drug dependency. Superstars like Scott Hall and Jake Roberts have been assisted by the WWE and have now been clean for over a year and were recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.
