WWE are considering offering single PPVs through the Network for $4.99 with no commitment. The company issued a survey this week asking fans if they would be interested in the idea. It would mean they would only have access to the PPV in question and no other Network content, which costs $9.99 a month to access.
This would allow fans to pick and choose from events they’re interested in without having to fork out for a full month’s subscription. It’s not yet clear whether they would have infinite access to the PPVs they’ve purchased in a library, or if they would only be available to stream live or for a certain period of time thereafter.

Interestingly there are still fans that are paying full price for the PPVs through traditional providers, which suggests they do not have the right technology or are just not interested in watching content over the internet for whatever reason.
We’ll have to wait and see whether WWE will follow through with the new concept.
