Officials looking to prevent “Goldberg” chants on Ryback

We noted a few weeks back that Ryback was well received backstage after his return on Raw. With a positive change in his attitude, things are improving for the big guy internally. Vince McMahon and Triple H are both reportedly very happy with Ryback’s return and the fan reaction to him.

But officials are worried about the “Goldberg” chants which were thrown at him before. To avoid these chants, officials are trying to put him in competitive matches instead of squash matches as they think squashing the opponents in short matches might start those chants again. Those dreaded Goldberg chants caused Vince to sour on Ryback in the past & his previous bad attitude made it even worse & eventually resulted in the end of his original push.
