WWE had two pay-per-views in August and many members of the WWE Universe were worried that this could be the case once again when two different dates were advertised for Clash of Champions at Payback last night.
The original date for the show was being reported as September 20th, but WWE changed it to September 27th a few days ago. As can be seen, they didn't change the advert before last night's Payback event.

With that being said, the first adverts for the show were part of last night's Payback event and WWE added a lot of confusion when they played the ad with the old date on. Thankfully, Michael Cole later confirmed that the date was September 27th.
Many media outlets then reported that the date of the show was September 20th based on the advert that the company showed ahead of the Universal Championship match. It can now be officially confirmed that the actual date is four weeks from last night on September 27th, just to avoid any more confusion.
