Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott took on The IIconics on Payback's kick-off show and it was the newly united Riott Squad that was able to pick up the victory. It didn't come without error though, as Liv Morgan made a number of mistakes once she got the hot tag in.
The biggest one came as she jumped off the middle rope and looked to deliver her usual dropkick to Peyton Royce. The ropes must have been slippery since Liv tripped and only managed to make minimum contact with Royce in what looked like quite a big botch from the former NXT star.

There were a few other moments in the match last night at Payback where the contact between the women wasn't as clean as it should have been and Riott missed the turnbuckle when using it as a weapon.
This was a match that the WWE Universe had high expectations from. The four women have been feuding for a while and needed to have a blow-off match, but there is a reason it was on the kickoff show for Payback.
