Although Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler have never teamed up in an official WWE match, they have suddenly become the top contenders for Bayley and Sasha Banks’ Women’s Tag Team titles at WWE Payback 2020.

Many people are predicting that The Golden Role Models’ title reign will come to an end at WWE Payback 2020, with the unlikely duo of Jax and Baszler putting their differences aside to become the latest set of dysfunctional Tag Team Champions in WWE.

The problem here is that, while Bayley and Banks’ days as Women’s Tag Team Champions do appear to be numbered, Jax and Baszler have no momentum whatsoever as a duo heading into WWE Payback 2020.

Daniel Bryan & Kane, The Miz & Damien Mizdow and Braun Strowman & Seth Rollins are three examples of WWE tag teams who won titles even though they did not get along.

Still, despite the friction in those tag teams, it felt like the next natural step in all three of those storylines for them to win the gold together – something that cannot be said for the Jax vs. Baszler rivalry.

The Irresistible Force clearly does not play well with others, so do not be surprised if she betrays Baszler in their match at WWE Payback 2020.
