Alternatively, could we finally see Bayley and Sasha Banks separate at WWE Payback 2020?

The Women’s Tag Team Champions have never faced each other in a one-on-one match at a WWE pay-per-view, with their last major singles match coming way back in October 2015 when they battled it out in a 30-minute Ironman match at the NXT TakeOver: Respect event.

There has been constant speculation about a possible betrayal between the best friends ever since they reunited on RAW in July 2016, but it has still never happened.

Ahead of WWE Payback 2020, the latest episode of SmackDown saw Bayley accidentally imply that Banks is the weak link in their tag team, and she even pointed out that The Boss has now failed to retain the RAW Women’s Championship in all five of her reigns with the title.

It is inevitable that these two Superstars will split up at some point between now and WrestleMania 37, but it remains to be seen how and when the betrayal will occur.

If it happens at WWE Payback 2020, the likelihood is that Bayley will attack Banks for being the weak link in their team.
