While we could say that this match at Payback 2020 has been over a year in the making, the truth is that it's been envisioned for many years. Dominik Mysterio prevented Rey Mysterio from retiring last year by convincing him to wait for his debut so they can team up together.

Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio technically teamed up for the same match on RAW but RETRIBUTION got involved. They're scheduled to face off at Payback 2020 and hopefully, there won't be any interference this time.

A week before Payback 2020 at SummerSlam, Dominik showed his heart against one of the best wrestlers in the world in Seth Rollins and stood toe-to-toe with him in what many considered the most entertaining match of the night.
