WWE: Payback Intercontinental title rematch to occur live on Main Event

Bad news Barrett will face Rob Van Dam in a rematch for the Intercontinental title

In the recently concluded WWE pay-per-view Payback, Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett successfully defended his title against Rob Van Dam.

But a rematch for the IC title has been scheduled between Bad News Barrett and Rob Van Dam for the WWE Main Event which will take place live at Cincinnati, Ohio, on the WWE Network.

Leading to the Money In The Bank PPV, Alberto del Rio emerged as the first qualifier for the Money in the Bank ladder match after defeating Dolph Ziggler.

As reported earlier, if Daniel Bryan is declared unfit to defend his title in a stretcher match against Kane at the PPV, the ladder match will be changed to a title match for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Title.
