Next month will be dominated by all things WrestleMania, but that doesn’t mean other events are taking a backseat with WWE officials, who have already set the next pay-per-view event for May.
WWE have recently confirmed, during a taping in Chicago, that the second pay-per-view event of May will be in the form of WWE Payback, which is scheduled for May 1st from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
American ticket sales and distribution company Ticketmaster has already started pre-selling tickets for the event, which can be bought with the passcode PAYBACK.

This news means that May is set to witness two WWE pay-per-view events – the first one announced being Extreme Rules – which will go on the floors on May 22nd from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Fresh pay-per-view events will come as a welcome relief to both fans and WWE alike, with the company mulling cutting some major pay per view events this year in order to preserve their profit, which was high in the recent Q4 report.
WWE would be focussing more on Network specials such as Roadblock this year and major PPV’s could be ticked off the WWE calendar for 2016.
