5. Big E Langston (Previous Rank – 6)
The Intercontinental Champion is carrying a lot of momentum and capped his week off with a win at TLC against Sandow. He also pulled off a big save on SmackDown as CM Punk and John Cena were attacked by The Shield.
4. John Cena (Previous Rank – 1)
Former WWE champion Cena finds himself dropping big after he lost cleanly to Randy Orton at TLC in the unification match. There seems to be no new direction for the superstar and a rematch is also not yet confirmed which further casts doubt over the rise of Cena from the current ranking.
3. Daniel Bryan (Previous Rank – 3)
The flying goat maintains his rank even after losing out to the Wyatts. Bryan was also seen winning an impressive match against the new unified champion at RAW.
2. CM Punk (Previous Rank – 2)
Punk had an excellent week this time around. It started with a handicap win over the Shield at TLC and was followed up by another one at SmackDown.
1. Randy Orton (Previous Rank – 4)
Orton got an early Christmas gift when he snatched the titles from Cena’s hand. The Authority also seems to be behind the champ who, despite losing to Daniel Bryan at RAW after a thrilling match, seems likely to cement his place as long as the titles are on his waist.
