WWE may have the longest running show on Television in RAW, but its main Attractions are its PPV (Pay-Per-View) Shows. These PPV’s are the ones which have made WWE the most successful Professional Wrestling Franchise in the world, walking over competitions like WCW, ECW and TNA (albeit in different generations). Here’s a list of PPVs this year, their schedule, and their venues.

Payback
Payback is the first PPV after Wrestlemania 32, it’s still riding the wave started on Wrestlemania. The post-Wrestlemania RAW’s have been characterised by NXT Graduates like the Vaudevillians and Enzo and Big Cass, and one among them will be main eventing the Tag Team scene with The New Day. There’s a strong line-up on paper with feuds such as Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn,Cesaro vs. The Miz, Natalya (with Bret Hart) vs Charlotte (with Ric Flair) leading up to the Main Event between AJ Styles vs. Roman Reigns.
Date: May 1, 2016; Venue: All-State Arena in Rosemont, Illinois
Extreme Rules
Extreme Rules translated in WWE Language is anything goes, think Street Fights, No Holds Barred, Chair Matches, ‘I Quit’ matches, Last Man Standing to Tomato throwing matches(just kidding).
Date: May 22, 2016; Venue:Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey
NXT Takeover Dallas
If the last NXT Takeover is anything to go by, NXT Takeover is going to be crazy. Popular belief says there is more talent in the NXT Roster than in the WWE Main Roster, and I agree. But, once you see the Nakamura Entrance, you realise it’s just not pro wrestling talent, they have swagger and pulling power.
Date: June 19, 2016; Venue:Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida
Money In The Bank
A personal favourite, Ladder Matches, lots of crazy spots and bodies on the line. Everything WWE should be about. Ohh, and how can I forget the uncertainty for a World Champion having to look back almost all the time
Date: June 19,2016; Venue:T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
Battleground
Another one of those PPVs crowbarred in, just to fill up the numbers. People should have something in return at least when they pay for the WWE App.
Date: July 24,2016; Venue: Verizon Center,Washington, D.C.
Summerslam
Summerslam is normally marketed as the biggest thing in the Summer, which is actually very accurate (unlike some other stuff, cue Rock vs Cena). The Second Biggest PPV after Wrestlemania, Summer Slam has been a great show in the last few years. Somehow, a strong storyline always builds up beyond Wrestlemania, and normally concludes at Summer Slam. WWE Creative Team, you can clap for yourselves.
Date: August 21, 2016; Venue: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York
Night of Champions
Ideally, all Championship belts should be defended, and Champions and Challengers should be in the Line-Up. Ideally.
Date: September 25,2016 Venue:Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana
Hell In A Cell
Hell in a Cell, cue Big Guys, Steel Cages and Body Slam from Top of the Cages. Bring it on.
Date: TBA Venue:TBA
Survivor Series
The Wrestlemania Fever should be catching on by now. Last PPV of the year, and we can only hope they give a good show.
