WWE Fastlane is coming to you live from Cleveland, Ohio this Sunday night (March 10th). One of the marquee matchups on the card will feature a Triple Threat Tag Team match for the RAW Tag Team Championships, as we will see The Revival defend their championship against former champions Chad Gable and Bobby Roode, and also two of the newest members from the NXT roster that have been thrown together to make a rather unique combination; Aleister Black and Ricochet.
This past Monday night on RAW, we witnessed a nice tag team match between The Revival, Aleister Black and Ricochet for the RAW Tag Team Championships. Chad Gable and Bobby Roode were at ringside. As you can see from the highlights video below, they got involved and all hell broke loose between all three teams.
Chad Gable and Bobby Roode cost the new NXT call-ups the match and a chance at becoming the next RAW Tag Team Champions, as they assaulted The Revival at ringside before coming to blows with Aleister Black and Ricochet.
This is going to a tough contest to call here. Either of these teams can easily walk away from Fastlane as the champs. You have Aleister Black and Ricochet with something to prove and want to get off to a great start, which they have, but imagine those two becoming the next RAW Tag Team Champions? That would be a bold, but interesting move if done by WWE.
Secondly, you have Chad Gable and Bobby Roode. They have a chip on their shoulders. They felt like they were robbed of the titles from The Revival, and now they also have to contend with Black and Ricochet. Those two men have a lot to gain and to lose this Sunday.
Then you have the champs, The Revival. No one is really giving them much of a chance, considering the level of competition they're facing at Fastlane. However, I'm going out on a limb here and will be choosing The Revival as the winners of this RAW Tag Team Championship match. The Revival need this victory. This would be a big win and a chance to show the WWE Universe their back on the same competitive and fierce level they once were back in their NXT days.
I can easily see them getting the win by defeating (via pinfall) Chad Gable or Bobby Roode, to allow the team of "Glorious Domination" to take the loss so you don't necessarily show weakness toward Aleister Black or Ricochet by having either of those men pinned at this point in time, since they're still relatively fresh off their call-up from NXT and still need to look very strong, in my opinion.
