A Revolution beginsAs far as the build up for Battleground goes, this night began on quite a high, continued to look like a big deal and ended with a whimper. Stephanie McMahon’s momentary face turn may be forgiven because of what and who she was introducing to the audience. That turned out to be the biggest moment of the night. That was the highlight of an otherwise average showing of Raw.As Battleground inches closer, WWE has done a good job of building for an otherwise average PPV.Here are the five promising developments from this weeks show-

#5 Selling Battleground

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The night began with the dwindling guitar strings hitting the arena and The Beast with his Advocate making their way out to the ring to talk some more about the very near future. Paul Heyman, again, gave his all and hopefully convinced many to tune into Battleground to see what fate awaits the current champion.

And just before Heyman seemed to be signing off, Rollins’ music hit and he made sure that he gives his two cents about how he’s going to handle Lesnar come Sunday. A split second bumble followed which he shirked off pretty well.

All of this ensured that the main event is going to be something worth looking forward to.

#4 Ryback

Ryback Rules

As far as bringing relevance to the IC title goes, it’s nowhere compared to what’s been going up with the U.S. Championship.

While an established name like John Cena carries the US Championship, it’s a different thing altogether. He’s the biggest star the company has but when somebody like Ryback is holding a title that needs relevance, you ought to give him some time.

And Ryback is doing a good job of staying confident and motivated throughout the time the company puts him in tag matches more than relevant singles matches

#3 Finishing touches

Reigns doesnt look too happy

Roman Reigns always looks good when he has one of his Shield brothers around, even if its just him taking care of business. Dean Ambrose was scheduledto face Bray Wyatt for the umpteenth time in his career. Just when we thought that two people who are strongly familiar about each others wrestling styles, the light came back on and Reigns was right behind Wyatt to give him a piece of his mind.

The two had a brawl and it ended when Wyatt hit Reigns with his lantern.

That ought be enough of a build up for their match at Battleground.

#2 Rusev and Owens cross paths

Rusev Vs Owens can be a good feud

Last week,I wrote about how interesting it will be to see Rusev and Owens collide. Both of them are quite agile for their build and both of them can act and understand in- ring psychology.

So, it was quite incredible to see that happen so soon this week itself. Rusev came out to challenge Cena and so did Owens. And both of them had an exchange that can be deemed funny and entertaining.

Eventually, Cesaro came out and that kicked off a triple threat match to see who faces Cena. Owens eventually walked out which led Rusev to win and just when he faced Cena, Owens interfered and that ought to plant some seeds between Rusev and Owens.

#1 Taking over

She’s finally here.

How awesome was this moment?

It may seem crowded and chaotic at first but that’s what a revolution looks like. Stephanie McMahon came out as the voice to announce what she thought was the difference- maker for the divas division. The Atlanta crowd knew what was coming and the excitement was all over the arena.

The three of the NXT 4 made their way out with respective introductions by the Billion Dollar Princess and all of this got one of the loudest ovations of the night and the ‘This is Awesome’ chant.

This was certainly memorable. A new leaf for what seems to now be a new division.
