WWE Monday Night Raw is set to celebrate its 20th Anniversary this week at Houston, Texas. Being on air every week since January 1993, RAW had crossed a landmark of 1000 episodes last year and is set for another huge milestone this week. With several stars and legends slated to appear on the show, this week’s RAW is a must watch for all WWE fans. Check our what’s in store for us on the show:
The Rock concert:
After the verbal showdown on RAW last week, Rock and CM Punk will continue the build up to their WWE Championship match at Royal Rumble. The Rock concert is advertised to take place similar to the one that took place in the build to the ‘Once in a lifetime’ match between The Rock and John Cena at Wrestlemania 28. Expect the Rock to take potshots at Punk during his concert. CM Punk will certainly respond with his pipe-bombs.

Brock Lesnar to return?
With the show being a 20th anniversary special, several legends are expected to appear. A DX reunion is on the cards. Many are predicting a Brock Lesnar return on the show. Others expect Stone Cold Steve Austin to make a special appearance. Rumours are floating around that Ric Flair will be on the show. Several Legends who were part of the first episode of Raw are also expected to be a part of the 20th anniversary special.
Divas Championship match:
A Divas Championship match between the champion Eve Torres and the challenger Kaitlyn has been announced for the show. This match might result in a new champion being crowned as Eve’s title reign has become stale over the last few weeks while at the same time, Kaitlyn has been given a push by the WWE.
The new World Heavyweight Champion – Alberto Del Rio:
After a surprise victory over Big Show on Smackdown, Alberto Del Rio will be on this week’s RAW as the new World Heavyweight Champion. The Big Show might use his rematch clause either on RAW or Smackdown this week, but is unlikely to regain the title. It will also be interesting to see how this affects the Money in the Bank holder Dolph Ziggler, who seems to have ended his feud with John Cena.
Royal Rumble entrants:
A few big names like John Cena, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler and Randy Orton have already announced that they will be a part of the 2013 Royal Rumble match. With plenty of slots still vacant, we can expect a few more entrants to be announced on this week’s RAW.
Hall of fame announcements:
WWE might formally announce Mick Foley as a Hall of Fame inductee on RAW. The details regarding the other inductees might also be revealed during the course of the show.
The Shield’s next course of action:
The Shield has been attacking Randy Orton over the last few weeks. They have lost some steam after their initial burst into the scene. With plenty of big names expected to appear on the show, the Shield might just steal the spotlight from one of them.
Don’t miss the historic 20th anniversary RAW.
