On course for a showdown? For a show that had four good matches to determine the successor to Seth Rollins and an Undertaker appearance, what got the whole wrestling fanbase talking is how they decided to end the show. Two women were at the centre of that controversy, both playing their parts perfectly. The demarcation between the evil and the good were quitle clear, something that the divas division has lacked in some time.Anything is possible in the wrestling world and controversy does its part in creating cash. WWE deciding to end the show with two women will always be interesting. Here are the 3 things that worked on this episode of Monday Night Raw
#1 The possibilities
Meet John Cena's dad HERE
The possibilities are immense.
#2 The tournament
The four matches that WWE gave us for the quarter-finals of the WWE World heavyweight title tournament were not of the same quality, but they sure did deliver.
The best one being that between Cesaro and Reigns. Though, Reigns looked really, really strong, Cesaro seemed quite unstoppable himself. That man makes wrestling look beautiful every single time.
#3 Undecided vote - Paige Vs Charlotte
Okay, here are the reasons why it worked. On a show which had four really good matches to determine the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion and had The Undertaker make an appearance, WWE decided to end the show with a contract signing between two women.
The last time this happened was between Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella for Summerslam 2014. But well, that’s Stephanie McMahon. Paige and Charlotte got quite a moment and this comes after the immense buzz about Ronda Rousey’s loss to Holly Holm.
But controversy managed to creep in after Paige talked about Charlotte’s late brother in a disparaging way.
That got the fanbase talking, and the reaction has been polarizing to an extent. In the matter of getting attention, this did the part but the moment comes after weeks of uninspired writing for this feud.
