Tonight, on WWE RAW, Nikki Cross locked horns with Alexa Bliss in a singles match. To say that this encounter was underwhelming would be an understatement. The history between these two former best friends coupled with a great promo from the WWE production team led us into expecting more from this match.
Don’t get the wrong idea; Cross started out great. She was dominant and went after Bliss’ weak points. But as it often happens with the babyfaces on WWE RAW, Cross was extremely gullible. It didn’t look good when Bliss so easily convinced Cross that she is indeed back to her normal self – especially if you consider the interactions between them over the last few weeks.
Finally, Bliss delivered her last and only blow of the match in the form of Sister Abigail. That was enough for her to pin Cross inside the ring, and that ended up making the latter look extremely weak. We hope that WWE will use their opportunity to book both Superstars in a manner that they are involved in a good, compelling storyline on WWE RAW.
