The returning Ziggler faced Miz in a match that was billed as “The Battle of Cleveland,” (because both of them are from Cleveland, and they were wrestling in front of the Cleveland crowd) with Ziggler winning the match with the help of the Zig Zag.

Later, he was involved in the 6-man tag team main event match, where he teamed up with John Cena and Daniel Bryan to face The Shield, with the winning team getting the places in the Elimination Chamber match. Sheamus and his team won the match and the Elimination Chamber slots.
